Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is seeking a sales-focused professional in Malaysia (Johor Bahru) to expand the customer base and drive solution-driven engagements for laboratory, process analytics, and related fields.

The role involves nurturing leads, qualifying opportunities, and partnering with teams to deliver high-quality MT solutions. Travel within Melaka and Johor is expected, and a degree in science is preferred for this critical commercial function.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science preferable in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and/or related field.
• At least 3-5 years working experience in sales and laboratory position.
• Instrumentation/Laboratory sales or technical experience would be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Increase qualified customer database for targeted segments.
• Follow up on sales leads, fast response towards fulfilling customers enquires. Provide sound consultation on MT’s product solution and application.
• Secure new customers in the private and government sectors by identifying needs and engineering high quality solutions.
• Grow target accounts and consistently build sales pipelines.
• Qualifying database and updating CRM.
• Establishing new accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales call schedules.
• Identifying current and potential customer requirements by establishing personal rapport and understanding key requirements.
• Support Team Leader and Head of Division in execution of marketing campaigns, leads generation and pipeline management.
• Effectively deliver high quality solutions to suspects, prospects and customers.
