Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is a global leader in precision instruments seeking a technically savvy sales professional in Penang. You will drive customer acquisition, provide product and application consultation, and nurture relationships with multinational and SME clients.

Responsibilities include managing pipelines, updating CRM, supporting marketing campaigns, and presenting MT product information to customers. Travel and technical collaboration with engineering teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Mechatronic Engineering or related field.
• Basic knowledge on Control Instrumentation System (sensors, transmitters).
• Minimum 3 years working experience in a technical sales environment.
• Understanding of sales & distribution with intermediate project management skills.
• Willing to travel; valid driving license.

Responsibilities

• Increase qualified customer database for targeted segments.
• Follow up on sales leads with fast response to customer enquiries.
• Provide sound consultation on MT's product solutions and applications.
• Secure new customers in MNC/SME industries by identifying needs and engineering adaptations.
• Expand market awareness and manage projects and relationships with customers.
• Manage existing accounts and update sales pipelines; qualify database and update CRM.
• Establish new accounts by planning sales calls and identifying customer requirements.
• Support Business Area Manager in marketing campaigns, leads generation and management.
• Present product and technical information to customers.
