Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is seeking a technically capable Sales & Marketing professional in Johor Bahru. You will manage existing accounts, identify new opportunities, and support marketing campaigns with a focus on MT products and services.

The role requires PLC, electrical and mechanical understanding, plus a proactive, travel-ready mindset. Join a global leader in precision instruments, interact with customer engineering teams, and present technical information while driving project pipelines.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in any engineering discipline preferably in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Mechatronic Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge on basic PLC systems, Electrical & Mechanical (Automation Integration)
• Minimum 2 years working experience in a technical sales Environment
• Self-starter with a proactive approach
• Understanding of sales & distribution with intermediate project management skills
• Willing to travel
• Strong interpersonal skills and influencing ability
• Valid driving license
• Technical equipment sales experience in the manufacturing sector (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Manage existing accounts and consistently update sales pipelines
• Qualify database and update CRM
• Establish new accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales call schedules
• Identify current and potential customer requirements by establishing personal rapport and understanding key requirements
• Support Business Area Manager in execution of marketing campaigns, leads generation and management
• Provide and present product & technical information to potential and existing customers
• Drive project pipelines with technical advisory and product advocacy
• Interact with customers’ engineering teams to illustrate MT valued propositions
• Represent MT products at field events and conferences
• Develop customer staff by providing technical information and training
• Conduct negotiation to secure win-win agreements with customers
• Maintain records of customer communication and sales activity in our CRM system
