Job summary

Mettler Toledo AG in Malaysia seeks a proactive Sales and Marketing professional to manage key accounts and grow new business in Johor Bahru. You will maintain CRM-driven pipelines, deliver technical product briefings, and coordinate marketing campaigns to convert leads into customers.

The role requires strong communication with engineering teams, ability to present MT solutions, and commitment to achieving sales targets within a dynamic environment. On-site at MT facilities with regional travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing accounts and update sales pipelines
• Qualify database and update CRM
• Identify potential customers and plan sales calls
• Understand customer requirements and establish rapport
• Support marketing campaigns and lead management
• Provide product and technical information to customers
• Act as technical advisor and product advocate
• Drive and manage project pipelines
• Contribute to technology evaluation in collaboration with technical support
• Be a competent technical advisor and product advocate for MT products
• Communicate regulatory compliance requirements effectively
• Interact with customers’ engineering teams to illustrate MT value
• Represent MT products at events such as conferences and seminars
• Develop customer staff by providing technical information and training
• Negotiate win-win agreements with customers
• Maintain service standards and customer relationships
• Analyze cost-benefit ratios and propose equipment/process improvements
• Prepare cost estimates from blueprints and documents
• Demonstrate cost reductions and operational improvements to gain acceptance
• Maintain records of customer communications and sales activity in CRM
