Job summary

Set Gaji Sdn. Bhd. is a dynamic fintech company offering early access to employee earnings and modern payroll solutions. We are seeking a Human Resources Executive to support recruitment, payroll, and HR operations in a fast-paced environment.

You will partner with managers, ensure statutory compliance in Malaysia, manage onboarding/offboarding, and drive process improvements across benefits and compensation. Join us to contribute to a growing team shaping financial wellbeing for employees.

Qualifications

• At least 2–3 years of experience in HR Functions and Compensation & Benefits.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to build strong working relationships at all levels.
• Strong knowledge of payroll software/systems, employment laws and regulations.
• Detailed, organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality.
• Able to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Have full spectrum of HR knowledge, payroll, Malaysia Labour Laws, statutory requirements and prevailing human resource practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for all levels, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Oversee and process monthly payroll accurately and within deadlines; ensure full statutory compliance (EPF, SOCSO, PCB, EIS in Malaysia).
• Review payroll reports, reconcile discrepancies, and liaise with Finance and external vendors on payroll-related matters.
• Maintain and improve HR policies, procedures, and documentation; ensure compliance with local labour laws and company policies; manage onboarding and offboarding.

Job Descriptions:

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for all levels, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding

Partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce planning and hiring needs

Manage relationships with recruitment agencies, job portals, and external vendors

2. Payroll & Compensation

Oversee and process monthly payroll accurately and within deadlines

Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements (e.g., EPF, SOCSO, PCB, EIS in Malaysia)

Review payroll reports, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure data accuracy

Liaise with Finance and external vendors (if any) on payroll-related matters

Any ad hoc HR projects/ task from time to time.

3. HR Operations & Compliance

Maintain and improve HR policies, procedures, and documentation

Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies

Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, including exit management

Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems

Handle employee relations matters and provide HR advisory support to management

Requirements:

At least 2 - 3 years of working experience in HR Functions and Compensation & Benefits.
