Job summary

AGX Logistics (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated Sales Executive to drive new business, manage customer relationships and promote our freight forwarding and logistics services from our Johor office.

The role focuses on identifying opportunities, building long-term partnerships, and meeting sales targets across air/sea freight, land transport and warehousing. The candidate should have 2–3 years of relevant experience and a proactive mindset.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Admin, Marketing or related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of sales or business development experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
Strong knowledge of air/sea freight, customs clearance, Incoterms and logistics operations.
Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities in freight forwarding and logistics.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to drive growth.
Promote logistics solutions including air/sea freight, land transport, warehousing and customs clearance.
Prepare quotations, proposals and customized logistics solutions for customers.
Negotiate pricing and service terms in line with company policies.
Collaborate with Operations, Finance and Customer Service to ensure smooth shipments and great customer experience.
Monitor market trends and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
Maintain an active sales pipeline and achieve targets monthly, quarterly and annually.
Record sales activities and customer interactions in the system.
Attend meetings, networking events and exhibitions to expand opportunities.

Job description

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our Johor office. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and promoting our freight forwarding and logistics services to achieve sales and business growth objectives.

Job Responsibilities

Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the freight forwarding and logistics industry.

Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to drive long-term business growth.

Promote the company's logistics solutions, including air freight, sea freight, land transportation, warehousing, customs clearance, and value-added services.

Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and customized logistics solutions to meet customers' requirements.

Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and service agreements in accordance with company policies.

Work closely with the Operations, Finance, and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth shipment execution and excellent customer experience.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer need to identify new business opportunities.

Maintain an active sales pipeline and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Keep accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the system.

Attend customer meetings, networking events, and industry exhibitions to expand business opportunities.

Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Qualification and Experience

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum 2–3 years of sales or business development experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.

Strong knowledge of air freight, sea freight, customs clearance, Incoterms, and logistics operations.

Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.

Strong business development mindset with the ability to identify and secure new customers.

Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.

Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with the ability to work independently.

Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Possess a valid driving licence, own transportation, and be willing to travel for business development activities.
