Job summary

AGX Logistics (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an Operations Executive to coordinate daily air export shipments—from job initiation to final delivery. You will manage bookings, documentation, cargo coordination and customer communication in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include preparing export documents, liaising with customers and carriers, and ensuring compliance with SOPs. Diploma or degree in logistics and 2–3 years of air freight experience are preferred; strong Excel/Outlook and

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Open and manage air export job files in the system.
• Liaise with customers, sales teams, warehouse, airlines, vendors and overseas agents to coordinate shipments.
• Arrange flight bookings and provide booking and flight details to customers.
• Coordinate local cargo pick-up and provide driver details where required.
• Coordinate with the warehouse to confirm cargo dimensions, quantity, markings and readiness.
• Prepare and verify HAWB, MAWB, AWB, pre-alerts and other required export documents.
• Coordinate cargo submission to the Cargo Terminal Operator (CTO).
• Submit required shipment information through the EDI system for Customs purposes.
• Monitor shipment status and follow up with airlines, agents, vendors and customers until final delivery.
• Provide timely updates to customers and internal departments on shipment status.
• Obtain and forward Proof of Delivery (POD) where required.
• Prepare customer invoices and record shipment-related costs accurately.
• Ensure all supporting documents are complete and job files are closed on time.
• Ensure operations comply with company SOPs, Customs requirements and applicable air freight procedures.
• Assist in resolving shipment delays, discrepancies, and operational issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate superior.

Job description

Responsible for coordinating and managing daily air export shipments from job opening to final delivery, including booking, documentation, cargo coordination, shipment follow-up, customer communication, billing and job file.

Key Responsibilities

Open and manage air export job files in the system.

Liaise with customers, sales teams, warehouse, airlines, vendors and overseas agents to coordinate shipments.

Arrange flight bookings and provide booking and flight details to customers.

Coordinate local cargo pick-up and provide driver details where required.

Coordinate with the warehouse to confirm cargo dimensions, quantity, markings and readiness.

Requirement

Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in air freight export operations, preferably in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.

Good knowledge of air export procedures, documentation, airline bookings, HAWB/MAWB and shipment coordination.

Familiarity with Customs procedures, EDI and CTO processes will be an advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.

Good command of written and spoken English.

Good communication, coordination and customer service skills.

Strong attention to detail and good time management.

Able to handle multiple shipments and work under pressure.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Willing to work beyond normal hours when required for urgent shipments or operational needs.
