Job summary

Arbeit Group in Malaysia is seeking a results-driven Sales Executive to drive growth in Sea Freight, NVOCC, Freight Forwarding, and Logistics. You will hunt new business, build relationships, and expand market presence in Malaysia.

You will conduct cold calls, meetings, and market research; prepare quotations, negotiate rates, close deals, and collaborate with Operations, Customer Service, Documentation, and Finance to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of sales experience in Freight Forwarding, NVOCC, Shipping or Logistics.
• Proven track record in acquiring new customers and meeting sales targets.
• Strong knowledge of Ocean Freight, Import/Export and International Logistics.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities for Sea Freight, NVOCC, Freight Forwarding and Logistics services.
• Conduct cold calls, customer visits, networking, referrals and market research.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate rates and close business deals.
• Coordinate with Operations, Customer Service, Documentation and Finance teams.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and freight rates.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, customer records and business reports.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and long-term account growth.

We're seeking a true hunter profile who can actively generate new business, develop customer relationships, and expand market presence in Malaysia.

Key responsibilities

About you

• Existing customer network within the freight forwarding or Shipping industry is highly preferred
• Proven track record in acquiring new customers and achieving sales targets
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills
• Good command of English
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently
• Willing to travel for customer meetings and business development activities
