Job summary

AGX Logistics (M) Sdn Bhd, Subang Jaya, invites a Senior Sales Executive to drive new business in air/sea/land logistics and related services. You will manage existing customers, present proposals, and close deals while collaborating with operations and finance to ensure smooth shipments.

You bring 3–5 years of B2B sales in freight/logistics, strong negotiation, and a pro-active, target-driven mindset. Asian travel may be required to visit key accounts and exhibitions.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
• 3–5 years of relevant sales experience.
• Strong knowledge of Air Freight, Sea Freight, Land Transportation, Customs Clearance, and Warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and market research.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and key accounts.
• Conduct customer visits and understand customers' logistics requirements.
• Prepare and submit quotations, tenders, RFQs, and proposals.
• Negotiate rates and commercial terms to protect margins and close deals.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to onboarding.
• Collaborate with Operations, Customer Service, Finance, and Management for smooth shipments.
• Monitor market trends, competitors, and freight rates to identify opportunities.
• Maintain sales pipelines and customer records; report to management.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Senior Sales Executive to develop new business opportunities, manage existing customers, and achieve sales and revenue targets. The candidate will be responsible for selling freight forwarding and logistics solutions across Air Freight, Sea Freight, Land Transportation, Warehousing, Customs Clearance, and Aerospace Logistics.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve assigned revenue and profit targets.

Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, exhibitions, and market research.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and key accounts.

Conduct customer visits and understand customers' logistics requirements.

Prepare and submit quotations, tenders, RFQs, and commercial proposals.

Follow up on quotations and convert opportunities into confirmed business.

Negotiate rates and commercial terms while maintaining company profit margins.

Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to customer onboarding.

Work closely with Operations, Customer Service, Finance, and Management to ensure smooth shipment execution and customer satisfaction.

Monitor market trends, competitors, freight rates, and industry developments.

Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell additional logistics services.

Maintain accurate sales pipelines, customer records, and sales reports.

Monitor customer payment status and coordinate with Finance on outstanding accounts where required.

Participate in exhibitions, networking events, customer meetings, and industry activities.

Provide regular sales forecasts and updates to management.

Support junior sales team members and share knowledge, market information, and sales best practices.

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

3–5 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in freight forwarding, logistics, supply chain, or related industries.

Strong knowledge of Air Freight, Sea Freight, Land Transportation, Customs Clearance, and Warehousing.

Experience in B2B sales and business development.

Existing customer or industry network will be an advantage.

Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Able to work independently and manage multiple sales opportunities.

Target-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated.

Possess a valid driving licence and willing to travel for customer visits.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/sales management systems.
