Job summary

AGX Logistics (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated Sales Executive to drive new business, manage customer relationships and promote our freight forwarding and logistics services from our Johor office.

The role focuses on identifying opportunities, building long-term partnerships, and meeting sales targets across air/sea freight, land transport and warehousing. The candidate should have 2–3 years of relevant experience and a proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Admin, Marketing or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of sales or business development experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of air/sea freight, customs clearance, Incoterms and logistics operations.
• Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities in freight forwarding and logistics.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to drive growth.
• Promote logistics solutions including air/sea freight, land transport, warehousing and customs clearance.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and customized logistics solutions for customers.
• Negotiate pricing and service terms in line with company policies.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance and Customer Service to ensure smooth shipments and great customer experience.
• Monitor market trends and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and achieve targets monthly, quarterly and annually.
• Record sales activities and customer interactions in the system.
• Attend meetings, networking events and exhibitions to expand opportunities.
