Job summary

Oriental Housetop Sdn Bhd is seeking a Sales Consultant in Petaling Jaya to promote and sell roofing, landscape, and related construction materials. You will understand customer requirements, recommend suitable products, prepare quotations, and coordinate orders, installation, and after-sales services.

The role involves site visits, technical guidance, and maintaining relationships with architects, contractors, developers, and homeowners to meet sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Attend to customer enquiries and identify customers' requirements, preferences, project specifications and budget.
• Promote and sell the Company's roofing, landscape and related construction material products and solutions to achieve assigned sales targets.
• Prepare sales quotations, proposals, cost estimates, sales orders and other sales-related documentation.
• Follow up actively on enquiries, quotations and sales prospects to convert opportunities into confirmed sales.
• Provide customers with accurate product and technical information, including product specifications, applications, installation requirements, warranties and maintenance requirements.
• Coordinate confirmed projects with internal departments, suppliers, contractors and installation teams to ensure delivery and installation are completed according to agreed requirements and timelines.

Job description

Responsible for promoting and selling the Company's roofing, landscape and related construction material solutions to individual customers and project clients. The Sales Consultant will understand customer requirements, recommend suitable products and solutions, provide technical and design support, prepare quotations, follow up sales opportunities, and coordinate orders, installation and after-sales services.

Key Responsibilities

Attend to customer enquiries and identify customers' requirements, preferences, project specifications and budget.

Promote and sell the Company's roofing, landscape and related construction material products and solutions to achieve assigned sales targets.

Recommend suitable roofing and landscape solutions based on customers' requirements, including product type, design, colour, application and budget.

Conduct site visits and measurements where required to understand project requirements and propose appropriate solutions.

Prepare sales quotations, proposals, cost estimates, sales orders and other sales-related documentation.

Follow up actively on enquiries, quotations and sales prospects to convert opportunities into confirmed sales.

Provide customers with accurate product and technical information, including product specifications, applications, installation requirements, warranties and maintenance requirements.

Prepare basic layout plans, product presentations and 2D/3D drawings where required to help customers visualise proposed solutions.

Liaise with architects, contractors, developers, homeowners and other relevant parties regarding product selection and technical requirements.

Coordinate confirmed projects with internal departments, suppliers, contractors and installation teams to ensure delivery and installation are completed according to agreed requirements and timelines.

Monitor project and installation progress and maintain communication with customers until completion.

Follow up on payment collection and outstanding accounts in accordance with the Company's credit and payment terms.

Provide after-sales support and coordinate the resolution of customer complaints, product issues and installation matters.

Conduct product presentations and training for customers, employees and other relevant stakeholders when required.

Monitor competitor activities, market trends and customer feedback and provide relevant market information to Management.

Support product launches, promotions, exhibitions, trade shows and other sales and marketing activities.

Maintain accurate records of customer enquiries, quotations, confirmed orders, sales activities and customer follow-ups.

Prepare periodic sales reports, sales forecasts and other reports required by Management.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Company's products, technical specifications, pricing, promotions and industry developments.

Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate superior or Management from time to time.

Willing to working in Dataran Prima, Petaling Jaya.

Requirements
