Job summary

American Air Filter Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive local sales growth in Malaysia, provide solution-based offerings, and ensure top-tier customer service and product knowledge.

You will manage inquiries, prepare proposals, and close deals while coordinating with consultants, contractors and end-users for compelling presentations. Ideal candidates have a mechanical/mechatronics background with 1–2 years in air filtration or HVAC, strong planning and negotiation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–2 years in Air Filtration Equipment, Cleanroom or HVAC industry; fresh graduates encouraged.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Multi-lingual skills are an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, planning, initiative, and independent work ability.
• Good negotiation and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Local Sales Growth and solution selling per country requirements.
• Handle customer inquiries and interpret requirements with proposals.
• Prepare quotations and cost analyses; negotiate and close sales.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors and end-users for presentations and promotions.
• Recommend total solutions and share knowledge on new products.
• Secure new projects and follow through on current ones to meet targets.
• Provide customer feedback to the factory for product development and service improvement.
• Generate sales and project reports for management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
