Job summary

Wistron Technology (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Lean Six Sigma and Industrial Engineering professional to lead continuous improvement initiatives across quality, productivity, and maintenance. You will support strategy execution, drive best-practice sharing with customers and LSS teams, and ensure KPI indicators are accurate and met.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Engineering and a Lean/ Six Sigma Green Belt, with at least 2 years in operations or IE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree/ Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical and electronic), Industrial engineering, or equivalent.
• Lean/ Six Sigma Green Belt is required; Master Black Belt is an added advantage.
• 2+ years of experience in Operation / IE / Lean Six Sigma projects.
• Coaching, training or project implementations; automation exposure is a plus.
• Good communication and analytical skills; problem solving and continuous learning.
• Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin an added advantage.
• Demonstrated leadership and time management; able to work in teams or individually.

Job description

1. Implementation of “Lean Manufacturing” in the axes of quality, productivity, and equipment maintenance.

2.Support delivery of business units’ strategy plans and implementation of continuous improvement to meet defined goals and milestones of company and customer.

3. Coordinate and encourage the sharing and adoption of good practices between customers and LSS teams.

4. Ensure compliance with customer’s requirements, including the accuracy of the calculation of the indicators of project performance.

5. Keep on leads the use of continuous improvement methodologies that enable the team to achieve KPI targets

6. Communicate effectively with customers, across teams and groups at every stage of the work progress

7. Actively lead teams and apply lean and six-sigma improvement activity to improve the flow within value streams and enhance business MVA.

Job Requirements :-

1. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/ Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical and electronic), Industrial engineering, or equivalent

2. Minimum Lean/ Six Sigma Green Belt (Master Black Belt would be an added advantage)

3. At least 2 years of working experience in the Operation / IE field / Exposure to Lean Six Sigma project

4. Coaching and Training or Project Implementations; or at least 1 year of working experience in the automation section with proven technical knowledge

5. Good communication skills, analytical skills in engineering, problem solving and continuous learning

6. Required languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin language and added advantage

7. Possess leadership characteristics and excellent time management

8. Good communication skill and able to communicate effectively with other function teams

9. Able to work in a team and individually

10. Able to work under the environment with fast tempo
