Job summary

Wistron Technology (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks a Process Improvement Engineer to optimize manufacturing and streamline production lines. You will lead lean six sigma initiatives, analyze data, and implement new techniques across cross-functional teams.

Requires a engineering degree, 4+ years in process optimization, knowledge of TQC tools and 4M1E, ability to manage multiple projects, and willingness to shift and overtime; multilingual English/Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing) or equivalent.
• 4+ years of working experience in related field.
• Strong knowledge of process optimization, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and statistical analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Job description

• 1. Optimizes and improves the efficiency of an organization’s manufacturing and industrial processes, ensure the smooth functioning of production lines, develop new techniques, modify existing designs and coordinate process improvement projects.
• 2. Identifying and implementing process improvements to reduce costs, minimize waste and increase efficiency.
• 3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of new processes, technologies and equipment.
• 4. Monitoring and analyzing process data, identifying trends and proposing solutions for process improvement continuously.
• 5. To continuous update and revise PFMEA/MPM/BPM/CTQ/Error proofing and lean six sigma item.
• 6. To involve with i4.0 project and automation project.

Job Requirements :-

• 1. Bachelor’s Degree / Master Certificate in Engineering (Mechanical Eng, Industrial Eng, Manufacturing Engineering or similar). 2
• 2. At least 4 years working experience in the related field
• 3. Strong knowledge of process optimization techniques, lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies and statistical analysis. (TQC Tools, 4M1E method)
• 4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex process issues.
• 5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• 6. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• 7. Willing to work on shift rotation and support overtime (weekdays & weekend).

8.Language proficiency :- English and Bahasa Melayu. We are also seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with our Mandarin speaking clients.
