Job summary

Wistron Technology (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Port Klang, Selangor invites experienced Quality Assurance professionals to join as QA / QMS, Supplier Quality Management, and Customer Accounts Management. The role covers QC plans, audits, supplier collaborations, and end-to-end quality tracking from materials to final assembly.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to prevent defects, conduct 8D / RCCA reports, and maintain ISO 9001 alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical /Mechanical, etc) or any relevant related field.
• At least 2 years working experience in quality field; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Able to work in a fast-paced team and individually.
• Languages: Bahasa Melayu and English; Mandarin proficiency preferred for client communication.

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance / QMS responsibilities including process audits and quality improvement.
• Supplier Quality Management: act as bridge between factory and suppliers, drive defect-free components and preventive actions.
• Customer Accounts Management: monitor quality performance end-to-end and manage RCCA/8D reporting with customers.

Job description

Candidate must willing to work in Port Klang Selangor.

The position will cover either one of the each sub functions below :-

Job Responsibilities :-

1. Quality Assurance (QA) / QMS (Quality Management System)

Compilation of quality control information and drives for quality improvement

Prepare and performed Process Audit to ensure production processes are running as per requirement

Oversee process quality, handle quality issues and ensure issues are escalated to related parties

Working with related parties to follow up for improvements

Verify material or products or process in the case where quality issues arises

Plan and execute Product Quality Control and Inspection Plan (SOP/SIP)

Monitoring production line quality performance from NPI to MP

Drive and handle quality improvement activities as and when required

Attend meetings organized by related parties to resolve quality issues

2. Supplier Quality Management (SQM)

Act as the major communication bridge and window between factory and the supplier, deliver zero-defect and competitive component and services to factory & customers

KPI: Weekly / Monthly / Half a year and annual summary by supplier / part number

Improving IQC incoming MRB / Non-QVL / LRR

Supplier survey and audit (QSA/QPA/ISO/QMS system)

Supplier quality and process improvement (8D report)

Supplier management plan of hazardous substances (GP program)

Supplier important quality problem and preventive measures

Any other job functions are required by management

3. Customer Accounts Management (AQM)

Perform internal quality performance tracking from end to end (Material, SMT-PCBA, DIP, Final Assembly function test and Packing) from customer point of view

Act as the main contact window between customers and the factory, deliver zero-defect and competitive products and services to customers

Review and follow up until closure quality issues RCCA and 8D preventive measures

Generate and issue RMA number for any DOA or repair requests by customer. Track the RMA process from end to end including document preparation, shipment, receiving, sorting, repair and return

Prepare daily, weekly and monthly report of quality performance and improvement plans to customer

Prepare RCCA, 5 Whys, 8D and other reports required by customer and follow up until issue closure

KPI: Customer’s satisfaction, No major complaint from customer and QBR No.1

Job Requirements :-

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical /Mechanical, etc) or any relevant related field

At least 2 years working experience on quality field is preferred.

Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply

Good communication skill and have the ability to communicate effectively with other function teams

Able to work in a team and individually in a fast environment

Language required : Bahasa Melayu and English. We are also seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with our Mandarin speaking clients.
