Job summary

Wistron Technology (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks a Process Improvement Engineer to optimize manufacturing and streamline production lines. You will lead lean six sigma initiatives, analyze data, and implement new techniques across cross-functional teams.

Requires a engineering degree, 4+ years in process optimization, knowledge of TQC tools and 4M1E, ability to manage multiple projects, and willingness to shift and overtime; multilingual English/Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing) or equivalent.
• 4+ years of working experience in related field.
• Strong knowledge of process optimization, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and statistical analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Optimize and improve efficiency of manufacturing and industrial processes.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs and waste.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new processes and equipment.
• Monitor and analyze process data, identify trends and propose improvements.
• Maintain PFMEA/MPM/BPM/CTQ/Error proofing and lean six sigma items.
• Involve in i4.0 and automation projects.
