Job summary

Fire Fighter in Selangor, Petaling Jaya is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to support procurement activities, liaise with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of raw materials.

You will coordinate with departments, assist in price comparisons, maintain documentation, and help with payment processing. Ideal candidates have SPM/STPM and experience in manufacturing purchasing.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a SPM/STPM qualification.
• Experience in manufacturing purchasing & procurement environment is preferred.
• Strong negotiation skills and PC literate.

Responsibilities

• Perform procurement activities and ensure smooth supply and on-time delivery of raw materials and current stock level.
• Assist and coordinate with related departments and suppliers on product quality and other product related matters.
• Involved in sourcing, price comparison and monitoring on price variation of supplies.
• Assist in document matching, key-in data into system and arrange payment to suppliers.
• Monitor and ensure up-to-date documentation control.
• Undertake work specified by HOD.
