Job summary

Lian Foo Poultry Farm in Masjid Tanah, Melaka is seeking an experienced purchasing/procurement professional to manage end-to-end sourcing, ordering and inventory activities. You will create and send purchase orders, coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, and track shipments while maintaining accurate purchasing records.

• Experience in purchasing/procurement and supplier coordination.
• Ability to review prices, quantities and delivery dates.
• Strong attention to record-keeping and documentation.

1. Process order :Create and send purchase orders(POs) after checking prices, quantities and delivery dates and coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.

2. Source Suppliers :research vendors, request price quotes, and compare supplier offers.

3. Track shipments :monitor outstanding orders and follow up with vendors on delivery schedules.

4. Manage Inventory: Monitor stock levels and coordinate with all department to prevent shortages.

5. Review daily, weekly and monthly direct material requirements.

6. Ensure proper maintenance of purchasing documentation and records.

7. Resolve Issues: Fix discrepancies in pricing, damaged goods, or missing items.

9. Other duties as assigned from time to time.
