• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, daily logs, and meeting minutes.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Identify and resolve project challenges, implementing corrective actions to minimise delays and cost overruns.
• Manage site safety protocols and ensure all personnel adhere to health and safety requirements.
• Monitor project progress against key performance indicators and report status to senior management.
• Control project costs through effective budget management and procurement practices.
• Lead and mentor site staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

About the role
JVG Bina Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager / Site Manager / Engineer / Supervisor to join our dynamic construction team in Penang. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing construction projects from inception through to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is essential to our continued success and growth in the construction industry, requiring a proactive leader who can manage multiple stakeholders, coordinate teams, and drive operational excellence on-site.

Key responsibilities

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in construction project management, site supervision, or engineering roles.

Proven track record of successfully delivering construction projects on time and within budget.

Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

Excellent project planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.

Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and manage teams.

Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

Valid professional certifications such as CIDB Registration, PE (Professional Engineer) status, or equivalent qualifications are highly desirable.

Experience in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects in Malaysia is advantageous.
