Job summary

Pressco Design & Build Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor/ Manager to oversee on-site operations in Johor Bahru. This is a full-time leadership role focused on delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

You will manage construction teams, monitor progress, enforce safety protocols, and coordinate with clients and project teams to ensure continuity across site activities.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in construction site supervision or management.
• Proven track record of managing multiple construction projects from inception to completion.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, safety standards and local regulations in Malaysia.
• Excellent leadership and teamwork abilities with the capacity to motivate a diverse workforce.
• Proficiency in reading architectural/engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with construction management software and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities to ensure work aligns with project plans, specs, and timelines.
• Manage and supervise labourers, tradespeople and subcontractors to ensure productivity and safety.
• Monitor project progress and report status to senior management and clients.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, standards, and company policies on site.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain site documentation including daily reports, safety records, material logs and quality records.
• Coordinate delivery and storage of materials and equipment for efficient site operation.
• Communicate with project managers, clients, architects and stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain continuity.
• Prepare and manage site budgets and monitor costs to prevent overruns.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety training for site personnel.
• Address disciplinary and grievance issues promptly and fairly.

About the role

Pressco Design & Build Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced and dynamic Site Supervisor/ Manager to join our construction team in Johor Bahru, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. As Site Supervisor/ Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site operations, managing teams, and maintaining safety and compliance standards across all construction activities. This is a leadership position that directly impacts project success and operational excellence.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in construction site supervision or management within the construction industry


• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple construction projects from inception to completion


• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, safety standards and building regulations in Malaysia


• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse workforce


• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings and specifications


• Competency in using construction management software and Microsoft Office applications


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with all stakeholders


• Sound problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills under pressure


• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to various project sites


• Relevant certifications such as CIDB registration, Safety and Health Officer certification, or equivalent qualifications are preferred


• Experience in managing concrete, structural, finishing or mechanical works is advantageous
