Job summary

M&M Project Builder Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor (Construction) to join our civil and structural team in Johor Bahru. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensure safety standards, and coordinate with stakeholders to meet timelines and quality targets.

You will manage site teams, monitor progress, review drawings, and prepare daily reports. The role requires strong communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia and willingness to travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a Site Supervisor or similar supervisory role in civil and structural construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices in civil engineering.
• Proven ability to manage teams effectively and demonstrate strong leadership qualities.
• Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations and construction standards in Malaysia.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating site activities, ensuring all work is completed in accordance with project specifications, plans, and safety standards.
• Monitoring daily progress and ensuring construction activities remain on schedule and within budget parameters.
• Conducting site inspections and quality checks to maintain high standards of workmanship and material standards.
• Managing and training site personnel, including labourers, tradespeople and subcontractors, providing clear direction and support.
• Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations, including conducting toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Liaising with project managers, engineers, and clients to communicate site progress and address any issues or concerns.
• Maintaining accurate site records, including daily reports, timesheets, and material documentation.
• Coordinating the delivery and storage of materials and equipment on site.
• Identifying and managing risks on site, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Resolving on-site conflicts and managing performance issues with site personnel.

This is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to take a leadership role on site and contribute to the successful delivery of our construction projects. As Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and coordinating with various stakeholders to maintain project timelines and quality standards. This role is critical to our operations, as you will directly impact project success and site safety whilst managing teams in a fast-paced construction environment.

What we're looking for

Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations and construction standards in Malaysia

Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

Experience in using construction management software and Microsoft Office applications

Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and verbal

Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to various construction sites as required

Relevant qualifications or certifications in construction management or health and safety would be advantageous

A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement on site
