Job summary

GLOBAL DATEN SENTRUM SDN BHD is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee on-site construction activities at Chuping, Perlis. You will ensure safety, quality, and progress align with drawings, specifications, and budget.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Civil Engineering or related field, has 3–5 years of building construction experience, can interpret complex drawings, and communicates effectively with subcontractors and teams while traveling between sites.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in construction projects, preferably building construction.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Willingness to work outdoors and travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily on-site construction operations according to drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to avoid delays.
• Attend site meetings and report progress to the Superintending Officer (SO).
• Review construction drawings and raise RFIs where necessary.
• Ensure workmanship meets quality standards and follow approved method statements.
• Conduct inspections for structural, architectural, and M&E works.
• Prepare work schedules and track daily/weekly progress.
• Identify potential delays and propose solutions.
• Ensure site activities comply with safety and environmental regulations.
• Prepare material requisitions and verify delivery quality.
