Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a qualified project engineer/manager to oversee site construction activities, ensuring safety, quality and schedule adherence for high-rise projects.

The role requires strong coordination with stakeholders, solid planning skills, and fluency in English with Mandarin for Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or Construction Management.
• 7+ years of experience in high-rise construction.
• Proficient with Gantt/ CPM/ MS Project/ AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and monitor construction work progress at site.
• Resolve technical or construction issues at site.
• Drive project completion as scheduled, safely and efficiently.
• Communicate updates and milestones to the project management team.
• Collaborate with all project stakeholders.
• Prepare accurate documentation: progress reports, logs, as-built drawings.
• Other duties as assigned.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan, manage, control and monitor construction work progress at site.

Resolving technical or construction issues at site.

Drive project completion as schedule, safely and efficiently.

Must have exceptional communication skill. Communicate project updates, milestones, and issues to the project management team and other stakeholders.

Must be able to collaborate with all parties involved in the project.

Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including progress reports, daily logs, and as-built drawings.

Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate must possess at least Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering/Construction Management or equivalent.

At least above 7 years of working experience for high rise construction.

Well verse with Gantt Chart/CPM/Microsoft Project/AutoCAD.

Language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin (the role involves frequent communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders).
