Job summary

Inspira Resources Sdn Bhd is seeking a Project Manager (Construction Engineering) for full-time duty at UTM, Johor Bahru. The role involves overseeing all project matters, reporting on progress, and coordinating with subcontractors and authorities.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Construction Management, 5+ years in construction, and familiarity with JKR procedures. Hospital-building experience is highly preferred, and on-site work is required at Johor Bahru.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Construction Management or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in construction projects.
• Understanding of building processes, standards and site operations.
• JKR (Jabatan Kerja Raya) experience is a plus.
• Hospital building projects experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all project matters including site progress and costs.
• Prepare reports on project progress and tenders.
• Develop time-based programs and monitor them.
• Chair meetings with subcontractors for progress and safety.
• Attend client and consultant meetings.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• To oversee all the projects matters including site progress, site cost and etc.
• To write reports on project progress, tenders and related matters.
• To prepare time based programs and to monitor and control the same.
• To chair the meeting with sub-contractors for progress and safety committee.
• To attend client and consultant meeting.
• To co-ordinate with local authority for requirements and needs arises.
• To assist the management to achieve the company vision and mission.
• To manage the site accordingly with given time, reasonable quality and within budget.

JOB REQUIREMENT/QUALIFICATION

• Minimum Diploma in Construction Management, or related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of building and construction processes, standards, and site operations.
• Prior experience working with Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) is an added advantage.
• Experience in hospital building projects is highly preferred.
• Applicant must be willing to work in UTM, Johor Bahru.
