Vestland Resources in Malaysia seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead end-to-end civil construction projects. You will drive scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and quality assurance while coordinating with consultants, clients, and site teams to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
You will oversee procurement liaison, permit handling, and safety compliance, reporting to senior management with clear written updates and performance metrics.

Responsible for the ground-up scheduling, construction, quality control, inspection, code compliance, testing & commissioning, and timely completion of project
Schedule and coordinate project kick-off meetings to align contractors, store management, and team members
Involve in the selection of the Consultants as well in negotiation of their terms and conditions of engagement with the Procurement team, including giving the most suitable forms of tender and contract
Implement and coordinate the construction schedule and activities
Monitor and control the progress and development of all related project deliverables through the various stages of the project
Formulate policies, manage daily operations, and plan the use of materials and human resources
Plan site activities in detail, set targets and accurately forecast completion dates
Review and process RFIs, RFQs, RFPs and submittals
Obtain all necessary permits and licenses
Lead and provide expertise, guidance, advice, support and motivate project teams
Report to senior management via meetings or regular written reports
Accurately estimate material, construction and labor costs as well as project timescales
In charge of project budget for materials and manpower & maintain accurate billing records
Analyse construction project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization
Review and mitigate claims
Review risk assessment plans and ensure all safety regulations are met
Ensure all quality control, environmental and health and safety requirements are met
Prepare training programs and draft policies related to OSHA regulations for project
Develop accident investigation program to prevent recurrence of incidents and ensure rapid response to incidents across locations
Conduct and coordinate on-site reviews and audits of operations for all locations
Provide regular updates and written report to owners and management, as well as production results.
Work in collaboration with consultants of various disciplines and is familiar with authorities' submission procedures for building projects Any other duties assigned by the management or superior
Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management from a recognized institution.
Strong knowledge in project planning, execution, and management.
Excellent understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Proficient in project scheduling, cost control, and quality assurance.
Ability to lead, coordinate, and communicate effectively with consultants, clients, and site teams.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Familiar with Microsoft Project, Primavera, or other relevant project management tools.
Strong knowledge in project planning, execution, and management.
Excellent understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Proficient in project scheduling, cost control, and quality assurance.
Ability to lead, coordinate, and communicate effectively with consultants, clients, and site teams.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Familiar with Microsoft Project, Primavera, or other relevant project management tools.
Minimum 10 - 15 years of working experience in building construction or 5 years in a Project Manager position
