Job summary

DS Resource Global Sdn Bhd in Malaysia invites a motivated Project Manager (Civil) to lead civil construction projects from start to finish. Based in Petaling Jaya, you will coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

You will review drawings and method statements, supervise site activities, monitor costs and progress, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with specifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in civil construction/project management.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall civil construction project activities and site operations
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project execution from commencement through completion
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, authorities, and internal teams
• Monitor project progress to ensure timely completion according to the approved project schedule
• Review and interpret civil/structural drawings, specifications, method statements, and material submissions
• Supervise and coordinate site activities to ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Resolve technical, construction, and site coordination issues effectively
• Ensure all works comply with project specifications, safety regulations, quality standards, and relevant statutory requirements
• Monitor project costs, variation orders (VO), progress claims, and subcontractor claims
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and attend project coordination and site meetings
