Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced construction professional to identify and establish the scope of works, budget, work programme and quality requirements for projects. You will ensure safety, on-time delivery, and conformance to quality standards while coordinating across client, consultants, and subcontractors.
You will lead a site team, manage resources, monitor progress, address discrepancies between tender drawings and site conditions, mitigate risks, control changes, and uphold safety

Identify and establish the scope of works, budget allocated, work programme, and quality requirements and acceptance criteria for projects
Ensure the project is completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to quality standards
Identify discrepancies between tender drawings and actual site conditions
Identify and mitigate risks involved in project delivery
Control changes and recommend corrective and/or preventive actions in anticipation of possible problems
Attend all client, consultants, sub-contractors and site meetings
Lead a team of site staff in planning, supervise and manage on-site construction activities and review work progress on daily basis
Manage site team to ensure optimisation of manpower resources while maintaining healthy team morale
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Monitor and track project progress against the project schedule and prepare overall progress reports
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architecture Engineering or Construction Management
At least 6 years of working experience in construction, building management or related field, with significant senior-level roles
Knowledge in facade construction is an added advantage
Able to negotiate and make excellent decisions even under pressure
Self-motivated with strong leadership and team management skills
Ability to inspire and motivate multidisciplinary teams
Familiar with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, MS Office and Microsoft Project Software
Willing to relocate and be seconded to project sites
Able to train and mentor site personnel on safety practices and procedures
