Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced construction professional to identify and establish the scope of works, budget, work programme and quality requirements for projects. You will ensure safety, on-time delivery, and conformance to quality standards while coordinating across client, consultants, and subcontractors.

You will lead a site team, manage resources, monitor progress, address discrepancies between tender drawings and site conditions, mitigate risks, control changes, and uphold safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architecture Engineering or Construction Management.
• At least 6 years of working experience in construction, building management or related field, with significant senior-level roles.
• Knowledge in facade construction is an added advantage.
• Able to negotiate and make excellent decisions even under pressure.
• Self-motivated with strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, MS Office and Microsoft Project Software.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of site staff in planning, supervise and manage on-site construction activities and review work progress on daily basis
• Manage site team to ensure optimisation of manpower resources while maintaining healthy team morale
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Monitor and track project progress against the project schedule and prepare overall progress reports
