About the role

We are seeking an Operations Executive to join our team in Johor Bahru, Johor on a full-time basis. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth execution of our manufacturing, transport and logistics operations. As an Operations Executive, you will play a key part in coordinating production activities, managing scheduling processes, and supporting the planning functions that keep our operations running efficiently. You will work closely with various departments to ensure alignment with operational objectives and contribute to the continuous optimisation of our processes.

Key responsibilities

Oversee daily warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring smooth execution of inbound receiving, bulk storage, order picking, and outbound dispatch.

Act as the primary operational liaison for key client accounts, managing shipping schedules, daily status reports, and resolving operational escalations promptly.

Supervise and guide warehouse supervisors, storekeepers, and administrative staff to maintain high productivity, discipline, and adherence to company SOPs.

Manage inventory integrity across the Warehouse Management System (WMS), overseeing regular cycle counts, reconciliation of stock discrepancies, and space utilization planning.

Coordinate cross-border and domestic transport scheduling, driver assignments, and third-party haulage performance.

Verify and handle customs clearance documentation requirements (including K1/K8 declaration checks and SST invoice compliance) where applicable.

Monitor operational KPIs, turnaround times, and cost efficiency, identifying bottlenecks and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure full compliance with workplace health and safety standards, BOMBA regulations, and facility maintenance protocols.

Assist senior management in evaluating operational capacity, workflow planning for peak periods, and client billing verifications.

What we looking for

Proven experience in operations, production planning, scheduling or a related field within the manufacturing, transport or logistics sector

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve operational challenges

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Clear communication skills with the ability to work effectively across different departments and levels of the organisation

Knowledge of production planning systems and supply chain management principles

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support team objectives

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy in operational records

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics or a related field is preferred

Experience with ERP systems or planning software would be advantageous
