Job summary

BEST Global Logistics Technology (Malaysia) is seeking an Operations Support professional to assist daily warehouse and distribution center activities, ensure SOPs are followed, and coordinate the resolution of operational issues.

You will work with on-site teams, analyze data, and support reporting while coordinating resources to maintain smooth operations. This on-site role is based in Shah Alam.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, express delivery, operations support, quality control or data analysis.
• Strong understanding of warehouse, distribution center and transportation operations with data-driven problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Support daily warehouse and distribution center operations to ensure SOP adherence and resolution of operational issues.
• Coordinate resources and communicate with on-site operations teams to meet daily needs.
• Assist investigations into operational issues, quality concerns, and customer complaints by collecting data and site information.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc operational reports for management and business teams.
• Collaborate with Operations, Transportation, Planning, Customer Service, HR and other departments to resolve issues promptly.

Operations Support role supporting daily warehouse and distribution center operations to ensure smooth execution of operational activities in accordance with standard operating procedures, and coordinating the resolution of operational issues.

Key responsibilities

Support daily warehouse and distribution center operations to ensure smooth execution of operational activities in accordance with standard operating procedures, and coordinate the resolution of operational issues.

Work closely with on-site operations teams to understand operational needs, coordinate resources, and support the efficient execution of daily operations.

Support investigations into operational issues, quality concerns, and customer complaints by collecting operational data and site information, and assist relevant teams in implementing corrective actions.

Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc operational reports to provide management and business teams with timely operational insights.

Coordinate with Operations, Transportation, Planning, Customer Service, Human Resources, and other departments to facilitate effective communication and ensure timely resolution of operational issues.

Perform other operational support duties as assigned and provide timely on-site support based on business requirements.

About you

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field. Relevant operations or quality control experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.

Minimum 2–5 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, express delivery, operations support, quality control, or data analysis.

Strong understanding of warehouse, distribution center, and transportation operations, with the ability to analyze operational data, identify issues, and recommend effective solutions.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, IF functions, and Power Query). Experience with Power BI or Tableau is an added advantage.

Strong communication, coordination, cross-functional collaboration, and project management skills, with the ability to independently drive operational improvement initiatives.

Responsible, detail-oriented, and analytical, with strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a continuous improvement mindset.
