Job summary

Goodwill Square (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Operations Executive to join our production, planning and scheduling teams in Tanjung Malim, Perak.

This full-time role oversees daily operations, coordinates production schedules and ensures smooth warehouse and logistics flow to meet customer demands. You will analyse data, generate reports and KPI metrics, drive continuous improvement, and help maintain health, safety and environmental standards while supporting inventory planning and cost

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in operations, production planning or scheduling.
• Strong understanding of planning systems, scheduling methodologies and inventory management.
• Proficient with MS Office and familiar with ERP/production planning software.
• Analytical and data-driven decision making with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to work across departments.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma or continuous improvement preferred.
• Familiarity with health, safety and environmental standards in manufacturing preferred.
• Degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering or related field preferred.

About the role We are seeking an Operations Executive to join Goodwill Square (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. in a full-time capacity based in Tanjung Malim, Perak. This is a strategic position within our production, planning and scheduling operations, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our warehouse and logistics operations. As Operations Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operational activities, coordinating production schedules, and maintaining optimal workflow to meet our organisational objectives and customer demands.

What you'll be doing Your key responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring and coordinating daily production schedules to ensure timely completion of orders and adherence to quality standards
• Liaising between production teams, planning departments, and logistics to optimise workflow and resource allocation
• Analysing production data and identifying bottlenecks or inefficiencies to implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Preparing and maintaining accurate operational reports and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the production facility
• Supporting inventory management and material planning activities to minimise waste and reduce costs
• Assisting in the development and implementation of operational procedures and best practices
• Communicating with stakeholders regarding production status, challenges, and resolutions
• Participating in cross-functional meetings to support strategic operational planning

What we're looking for To excel in this Operations Executive role, you should possess the following skills, qualifications and experience:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in operations, production planning, scheduling, or a related manufacturing or logistics function
• Strong understanding of production planning systems, scheduling methodologies, and inventory management principles
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with ERP or production planning software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality and accuracy in all operational activities
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies (preferred)
• Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental standards relevant to manufacturing operations (preferred)
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
