Job summary

J&T Express (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. seeks an Operations Trainer to lead and support internal training for the Operations teams across sorting centers and locations.

You will develop programs, deliver enhanced SOPs and drive training effectiveness through assessments and engaging materials. The role requires strong presentation and communication skills, fluency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia, and willingness to travel for on-site sessions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Training & Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant corporate training experience (operations/L&D).
• Experience in logistics/courier/warehousing is an advantage.
• Fluent in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel to sorting centers/locations for training when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal training for the Operations Department.

Job description

We are looking for an Operations Trainer to lead and support internal training for our Operations teams. You will work closely with Operations leaders and the L&D team to develop and deliver training programs that ensure employees understand and follow operational processes, SOPs and company standards.

Key responsibilities

Plan, coordinate and conduct internal training programs for the Operations Department, covering SOPs, processes, forms, systems and operational guidelines.

Work closely with Operations department heads to identify training needs and develop relevant training programs.

Prepare PPT slides, training materials, quizzes, assessments and training videos.

Conduct training briefings, SOP roll-outs and operational awareness sessions.

Prepare training tests and assessments to evaluate employees' understanding and training effectiveness.

Coordinate with the L&D team on training schedules, arrangements and documentation.

Conduct on-site training at sorting centers and operational locations when required.

Collect training feedback and continuously improve training content and delivery methods.

Maintain training records, attendance and assessment results.

Support other training-related projects and initiatives assigned by management.

About you

Diploma or Degree in Training & Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field.

2–4 years of relevant experience in corporate training, operations training, L&D or a similar role.

Experience in logistics, courier, warehouse or other operations-related industries is an advantage.

Strong presentation, facilitation and communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications.

Experience in video editing / training video creation is an added advantage.

Fluent in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.

Willing to travel to sorting centers / operational locations for training when required.

Strong organizational skills, proactive attitude and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
