Job summary

Lucky Food Processing Sdn Bhd in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia is seeking an Operations Assistant to manage inventory receiving and control. You will scan items, check quality and shelf life, report discrepancies, and maintain clear documentation for audits.

The role requires at least 2 years in an inventory-related field, basic computer literacy, and the ability to work flexible days. You will thrive in a fast-paced team environment and support safety practices throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in inventory or similar roles.
• PC literate with familiarity in inventory software.
• Ability to work on off days/public holidays when required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Scan receiving and delivered items and ensure quality such as product condition or shelf life of inventory are meeting requirement
• Report damaged or missing inventory to superior
• Update logs or system software and documentation for inventory processing
• Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from aisles
• Work as an active team member to complete team goals
• Prepare documentation and inventory for audits
• Perform any duties assigned by superior as required from time to time

Qualification And Experience :

Candidate must possess at least Primary/Secondary School/SPM/"O" Level, Higher Secondary/STPM/"A" Level/Pre-U, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Others or equivalent.

At least 2Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Preferably Non-Executive specialized in Others/Category not available or equivalent.

Computer literate. Familiarity with inventory software and able to upload data into company system

Able to work during off day or public holidays when required by management

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Able to work independently

Pays attention to detail and monitors quality of inventory

Highly organized and able to store items efficiently

Must follow all health and safety procedure and regulations as dictated by the organization and Authorities
