Job summary

Lucky Food Processing Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable Logistics Manager to oversee the entire logistics department, including warehouse, dispatch and internal transport. The role focuses on leading the operation team and ensuring day-to-day processes run smoothly while maintaining inventory integrity.

You will develop and enforce SOPs for logistics and warehouse activities, leverage ERP/WMS systems, and coordinate across sales, invoicing, accounts, and inter-company teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics management and warehouse operations is essential.
• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities are required.
• Proficiency with ERP and WMS systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of the Logistics Department including all team, warehouse, dispatch and internal transport.
• Lead the operation team to ensure day-to-day activities run systematically and smoothly.
• Develop, implement and continually improve logistics and warehouse SOPs and processes (WMS, repacking, market returns, obsolete items).
• Responsible for inventory management, stock accuracy and data credibility.
• Schedule internal stock takes weekly, monthly and year-end counts.
• Coordinate with sales, invoicing, accounts and inter-co on related matters.
• Ensure store equipment, forklifts and lorries are maintained and clean; schedule maintenance.
• Provide stock reports for directors or other departments.
• Ad-hoc tasks as required.

Job description

Direct management of the Logistics Department including all team, good receiving, warehouse, dispatch & internal transport.

Manage & lead the operation team performance to ensure day to day operations activity are carried out systematically & smoothly.

Develop, implement & continually improve logistics & warehouse operating procedure & processes - WMS system (ssop, repacking, market return, expired stock, obsolete item), improve efficiency of workers.

Responsible for inventory management, maintain adequate stock level, stock accuracy & data credibility.

Schedule & carried out internal stock take:weekly or monthly & year end stock count.

Regularly update the stock item, identify in-active products, changing of packing/ new item. Update barcode & item master of WMS. Inform account department if there is any new item need to create or delete.

Communicate with others department: sales, invoicing department, account department, inter-co if there is any related matters, discrepancy.

Ensure that all the store equipment & lorries are always in good condition & cleanliness of all store/cold room. Deal with supplier/runner on repairing, scheduling maintenance for equipment, forklift, lorries, scale calibration & lorries inspection matters.

Provide stock report when required by directors or other department.

Ensure no breach of trust happen within premise, if happen, make sure report to the management.

Warehouse Report: - Monthly repacking report / yield report, Monthly lorry inspection / service report and analysis, Weekly / monthly cycle count report, set up market return SOP, stock disposal and return report and analysis, equipment upkeeping report and listing, and any ad-hoc report when needed / necessary.

Ad-hoc job when required.

Qualification And Experience :

Candidate should possess a good personality, able to work under pressure and positive attitude

Self motivated, dynamic, proactive possess strong initiative and interpersonal skills, able to work independently with minimum supervision and deliver results

Knowledge of ERP, WMS or other supply chain software is a value added.

Excellent interpersonal skills & able to interact with people at all level

Candidate with IT background knowledge are value added.

Candidate must be willing to work on site in Bayan Lepas, Penang Island.
