Job summary

Lein Hing Holdings Sdn Bhd is seeking an Operations Manager to lead daily logistics and distribution activities in Malaysia. You will oversee inventory, ensure DOT targets, and work with suppliers and the Sales Team to drive efficiency and cost control.

Travel may be required to fulfil operational responsibilities; your leadership will guide budgeting, HR support, and compliance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM/Diploma/ Degree, 3 years above of experience in an operations Logistics/ Sales.
• Strong knowledge of operational systems, procedures, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, guidance, training, and regular communication to employees to ensure alignment with the organization’s objectives.
• Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, stock accuracy, return-rate control, and coordination with the Sales Team to achieve DOT targets.
• Identify and implement methods to improve operational efficiency and overall business performance.
• Support the implementation of company plans and assist leadership in executing deployment timelines.
• Manage operational budgets, control costs, and approve expenditures within authority.
• Maintain communication with Board and management on values, mission, and strategic objectives.
• Coordinate with suppliers and third-party agencies to support operational requirements.
• Support HR in recruitment and manpower matters and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee building security, facilities, and equipment, with travel as needed.

Job description

Provide leadership, guidance, training, and regular communication to employees to ensure alignment with the organization’s objectives, policies, procedures, and operational requirements.

Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, stock accuracy, return-rate control, and coordination with the Sales Team to achieve the required Distribution on Time (DOT) target.

Identify and implement alternative methods to improve operational efficiency, effectiveness, and overall business performance.

Support the implementation of company plans, strategies, and vision, and assist the AGM/GM in ensuring deployment plans are executed within the required timeline.

Manage operational budgets, control costs, and approve maintenance and other expenditures within the assigned authority.

Work with the Board of Directors and management team on organizational values, mission, policies, planning, strategies, and short- and long-term business objectives.

Maintain effective communication between employees and management, and coordinate with suppliers, third-party agencies, and other relevant parties to support operational requirements.

Support HR in recruitment and manpower-related matters, and ensure required legal and regulatory documents are properly maintained while monitoring compliance with applicable requirements.

Oversee building security, facilities, and equipment to ensure they are properly maintained and in good working condition. The position may also require planned and ad hoc travel as necessary to fulfil operational responsibilities.

Requirement:

Minimum SPM/Diploma/ Degree, 3 years above of experience in an operations Logistics/ Sales.

Strong knowledge of operational systems, procedures, and best practices.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).

Familiarity with inventory management systems and tools.
