Job summary

Jora Malaysia in Ulu Tiram, Johor is seeking an IT Technician to join our team. The role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network systems to ensure smooth IT operations and security.

You will support end-users, configure accounts and email, and help maintain network infrastructure. The ideal candidate has basic IT knowledge, experience as an IT technician, and strong problem-solving and communication skills; on-site work with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role.
• Standard knowledge of Windows.
• Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, firewalls).
• Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and cloud-based services is a plus.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for end-users, both remotely and on-site.
• Maintain and support network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Assist with setting up and managing user accounts, email configurations, and access controls.
• Provide technical support for IT-related equipment.
• Document IT issues, solutions, and processes for reference and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security best practices.
