Job summary

Bright Prospect in Malaysia is seeking an IT Infrastructure & Support Specialist to provide 1st–3rd level technical support and maintain IT infrastructure across servers, networks, storage, and MES systems.

You will administer Microsoft 365, security solutions, and disaster recovery, while coordinating with teams and vendors to keep IT operations running smoothly in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure management and technical support.
• Strong knowledge of network and server administration; Microsoft 365 administration; IT security and endpoint protection; backup and disaster recovery.
• Experience with ISO 27001 / ISMS is an advantage; MES experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st–3rd level technical support and resolve IT incidents promptly.

• Administer Microsoft 365, email systems, user accounts, and access permissions.

• Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for system interruptions.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors on IT projects and issues.

• Provide 1st–3rd level technical support and resolve IT incidents and service requests promptly.
• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, CCTV, access control, PABX, and MES systems.
• Administer Microsoft 365, email systems, user accounts, and access permissions.
• Implement and monitor IT security solutions, including firewalls, antivirus, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) for system and service interruptions.
• Support ISO 27001 ISMS implementation, audits, and compliance activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors on IT projects, maintenance, and technical issues.
• Manage IT assets, software licenses, contracts, and technical documentation.
• Prepare IT operational reports and provide technical recommendations to management.
• Conduct user training and promote IT and cybersecurity awareness.
• Support IT procurement activities, including vendor sourcing, quotation comparison, and supplier evaluation.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
