Job summary

Enviros Survey & Consultancy Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to join the IT team. You will support day-to-day IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, ISO 27001 compliance, and IT projects across multiple offices and subsidiaries.

You will manage servers, virtualization, backups and security controls, while ensuring smooth Microsoft 365 administration and access management. Travel to regional sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support, systems administration or infrastructure.
• Knowledge of multi-site or multi-office environments is a plus.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Active Directory and Exchange Online.
• Experience with servers, virtualization, NAS and backup systems.
• Solid understanding of networking including VPN, DNS, firewalls and basic troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with endpoint security, MFA, patch management and EDR/antivirus solutions.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001:2022 or information security compliance is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 & 2 IT support covering hardware, software, network and M365 issues.
• Manage servers, virtual machines, NAS, firewalls, network equipment, Wi-Fi and VPN connectivity.
• Administer Microsoft 365, user accounts, access management and IT licenses.
• Monitor cybersecurity alerts and support incident response, vulnerability management and security controls.
• Manage backups, system maintenance, patching and disaster recovery checks.
• Support ISO 27001:2022 compliance, including ISMS documentation, risk assessments, audits and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with IT vendors and maintain IT asset and system documentation.
• Support IT infrastructure upgrades, migrations, security implementations and other improvement projects.

• Experience with servers, virtualization, NAS and backup systems
• Good understanding of networking, including VPN, DNS, firewalls and basic network troubleshooting

• Experience with IT ticketing and asset management systems
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and problem-solving skills
