Job summary

SME Aerospace Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced IT leader to oversee daily IT operations and ensure reliable service delivery across servers, storage, networks, and cloud services. The role includes maintaining ERP/MES systems, implementing cybersecurity policies, and leading IT projects such as ERP upgrades and migrations.

You will manage the IT helpdesk, budget, assets, and compliance with industry standards while guiding a team of IT engineers and technicians in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or any related field.
• Knowledge of system administration and implementing IT policies.
• Preferred with 5 years of relevant IT experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily IT operations and service delivery.
• Ensure high availability of servers, storage, networks, internet, and cloud services.
• Support and maintain manufacturing systems such as ERP System, MES (Manufacturing Execution System) in Future (Oodo), and Shop Floor Traceability.
• Implement cybersecurity policies and conduct vulnerability assessments.
• IT project management lead IT projects including ERP upgrades, and infrastructure migration.
• Develop IT SOPs, and IT Asset Management.
• Support compliance with AS9100, NADCAP, customer requirements, cybersecurity requirements, internal audits, and external audits.
• Manage IT Helpdesk and ensure timely ticket closure.
• Vendor Management: ISP, Hardware suppliers, Software vendors, ERP consultants, and Microsoft licensing.
• Lead IT engineers and technicians.
• Assist with IT budgeting and cost management.
• Manage IT inventory and asset traceability.
