Job summary

Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist in Ipoh to support and manage enterprise IT environments. The role covers ERP/SAP administration, M365, Windows Server and Linux, backups and DR, and ongoing monitoring to ensure reliable IT services.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in enterprise IT infrastructure, strong problem solving skills, and a willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT/ Computer Science or relevant discipline with CGPA 3.0 or higher.
• 5+ years in enterprise IT infrastructure support and administration.
• Experience with ERP/SAP, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Linux, backups, networking or security is advantageous.
• Certifications (Microsoft, VMware, Linux, Cisco, cyber, cloud) are a plus.
• Familiarity with automation, AI-powered IT operations, and strong problem solving is desired.

• Support and manage enterprise IT infrastructure environments, including:
• ERP/SAP platforms
• Enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Windows Server (Wintel) and Linux server environments
• Microsoft 365 and related cloud services
• Infrastructure monitoring and operational tools
• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity to ensure reliable IT services.
• Perform troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root cause analysis in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
• Coordinate with technology vendors on system upgrades, patches, enhancements, and infrastructure improvements.
• Participate in IT audit activities, compliance reviews, and security assessments to ensure adherence to organizational policies and industry best practices.
• Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and business continuity initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Explore, evaluate, and support AI-enabled IT automation initiatives, including AI agents and autonomous task execution to improve productivity and service delivery.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and operational guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT/ Computer Science or relevant discipline with minimum CGPA 3.0 from recognized universities.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in enterprise IT infrastructure support and administration.
• Hands-on experience or knowledge in one or more of the following areas is an advantage:
• ERP/SAP administration or support
• Microsoft 365 administration
• Windows Server and Linux administration
• Enterprise backup and recovery solutions
• Networking and cybersecurity technologies
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft, VMware, Linux, Cisco, cybersecurity, cloud certifications) will be an added advantage.
• Basic understanding or strong interest in modern automation technologies, AI solutions, and AI-powered IT operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Good in teamwork and ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Self-motivated, willing to learn, and able to adapt to evolving technologies.
• Willing to travel.
