Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer for an established steel manufacturing company in Johor. You will manage and enhance critical IT systems to ensure stable, secure operations across manufacturing and business environments.

Responsibilities include maintaining servers, networks, storage, and security, supporting ERP/MES systems, and ensuring business continuity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, network, and server administration.
• Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial environments is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of server administration, networking, cybersecurity, and troubleshooting.

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, networks, storage systems, and hardware to ensure reliable operations.
• Configure and support LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and file server environments.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and minimise downtime.
• Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions to strengthen IT resilience.
• Implement cybersecurity measures including endpoint protection, access control, system updates, and security monitoring.
• Support business‑critical systems including ERP, MES, databases, and email platforms from an infrastructure perspective.

What You'll Be Doing
