Jora Malaysia is seeking an IT Infra & Support Engineer to oversee day-to-day administration, maintenance and support of the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring availability, security, performance and reliability of IT services.

The IT Infra & Support Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance and support of the company's IT infrastructure and systems. The role will ensure the availability, security, performance and reliability of IT services while providing timely technical support to end users.Proactively monitor system health and performance, resolve infrastructure related issues, implement improvements and supports IT projects.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain Microsoft Active Directory (AD), Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365 and SharePoint services, including user accounts, access rights, groups and permissions.
Manage and maintain Windows Servers, network infrastructure, firewall, Wi-Fi, printers, UPS and other IT infrastructure equipment.
Perform routine system monitoring, maintenance, patching, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance to ensure system availability and stability.
Perform and monitor daily backups, including backup verification and BCP and DR Exercises.
Provide first-level technical support to end users for hardware, software, network, Microsoft 365 and other IT-related issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve IT incidents and service requests within the agreed service level.
Manage IT assets, including computers, laptops, servers, network equipment, software and peripherals, and maintain accurate asset records.
Maintain IT infrastructure documentation, system configurations, network diagrams, procedures and inventory records.
Assist with IT security activities, including access control, endpoint protection, firewall administration, patch management, compliance requirements and MFA, Vulnerability remediations and Security Incident support.
Support IT projects, system implementations, upgrades, migrations and infrastructure improvements.
Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for hardware, software, network and infrastructure support.
Assist in monitoring system performance, capacity and availability, migrations and recommend improvements where required.
Perform other IT infrastructure and support duties as assigned.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 1–2 years of working experience in IT System Administration, IT Infrastructure, IT Support or a related field.
Hands‑on knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Windows Server.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, SharePoint, networking, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, Switching, wireless and firewall administration.
Experience in system backup, troubleshooting, hardware/software support and IT asset management.
Good understanding of IT security, user access management and system maintenance.
Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with users and external vendors.
Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks and respond to IT incidents in a timely manner.
Knowledge or experience in SAP is an added advantage.
Relevant Microsoft, networking or IT certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA, CCNA, Azure Administrator associate or equivalent.
Other relevant certifications in Microsoft 365, cloud, networking, cybersecurity or systems administration are and added advantage.
Willing to support occasional after‑hours maintenance, system upgrades or urgent IT incidents when required.
