Job summary

Senai Airport City Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure professional to manage IT applications and infrastructure, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient operations to support business continuity and digital transformation across the land and property portfolio.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, and IT operations, with relevant IT certifications. Familiarity with property tech and IFCA/FZIPS is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer studies, information technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, IT operations, integrations and digitalization projects.
• Relevant IT certifications (ITIL, Microsoft, Power BI, Cloud) are a plus.
• Familiarity with property/real estate tech and IFCA or FZIPS is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact between IT Group support and business stakeholders.
• Manage and support all IT software, hardware, and network appliances to ensure smooth operations.
• Oversee IT budgeting, procurement, and vendor relationships.
• Drive IT improvement and digitalization initiatives to enhance efficiency.
• Manage cybersecurity posture including threat monitoring, access controls, and data protection.
• Configure and administer lifecycle of business software and applications.
• Coordinate with IT vendors for maintenance and services.
• Perform data backup, restoration, and recovery as needed.
• Ensure IT matters comply with governance, risk management, security, and access policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by HOD or Management.

To manage, support, and continuously improve the organization's IT applications and infrastructure, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient operations that enable business continuity and drive digital transformation across the land and property portfolio.

Key responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact between IT Group support (Group Transformation and Technology) and business stakeholders.

Manage and support all IT business software and applications, hardware, network appliances to ensure smooth daily operations and system availability.

Manage IT budget planning, procurement, and vendor relationships covering software licensing, hardware, and service contracts together with IT asset inventory and lifecycle management to ensure cost efficiency, timely project delivery, and business alignment.

Drive IT improvement and digitalization initiatives, including process automation and digital workflow solutions, to enhance operational efficiency and support the organization's digital transformation goals.

Manage the organization's cybersecurity posture including threat monitoring, access controls, and data protection safeguards for sensitive land and property records and coordinate incident response to ensure compliance with information security policies and regulatory requirements.

Configure and administer the lifecycle of business software and applications including installation, testing, upgrades, patches, and version updates to ensure continuous, secure, reliable application and system operations.

Work with IT vendors for application maintenance and technical services.

Perform application backup, restoration, and recovery activities including alternative solutions during application failures to minimize disruption and ensure timely resumption, in compliance with financial, operational, and business requirements.

Ensure all IT related matters comply with organizational governance, risk management, security, and access management requirements.

Perform any other duties as assigned by HOD or Management.

About you

Bachelor's degree in computer studies, Information Technology or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years' working experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, IT operations, Integrations and digitalization project.

Relevant IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, Microsoft, Power BI, Cloud certifications) are an added advantage.

Familiarity with property or real estate industry or Freezone systems i.e. IFCA, FZIPS is an added advantage.

Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and respond effectively.
