Job summary

Systemsquad Pte Ltd in Malaysia is seeking a System & Cloud Engineer to support day-to-day IT operations, troubleshooting, monitoring, and maintenance of customer IT systems and cloud infrastructure.

The successful candidate will assist in infrastructure, cloud, security, and endpoint-related project implementations across traditional IT and Microsoft cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT/CS/CE or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, system administration, technical support, cloud support, or related role.
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Comfortable working across both on-premises and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support and troubleshooting for servers, endpoints, cloud platforms, and IT infrastructure.
• Monitor system health, availability, performance, backups, alerts, and infrastructure issues.
• Administer Windows Server and Windows client environments.
• Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related services.
• Support Microsoft Azure and/or AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Support Microsoft Intune for endpoint management, device configuration, compliance, and application deployment.
• Assist with Microsoft Purview configurations, data protection, compliance, and information governance.
• Perform user account administration, access management, system maintenance, patching, and routine operational tasks.
• Troubleshoot incidents and escalation complex technical issues where necessary.
• Assist senior engineers and project teams with infrastructure migrations, cloud deployments, system upgrades, and customer implementation projects.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, configuration records, implementation notes, and support procedures.
• Communicate professionally with customers and provide timely updates on incidents, service requests, and project activities.
