Job summary

The Origin Foods Sdn Bhd is seeking an IT professional to support and optimize our digital backbone in a manufacturing environment. You will handle networks, security, ERP and business applications, ensuring high system availability and data integrity across departments.

Ideal candidates have a Diploma or Bachelor’s in IT/CS and 2+ years of relevant IT experience, with senior roles requiring 4+ years. Strong communication with vendors and internal teams is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in IT/CS or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant IT experience for Executive level; 4+ years for Senior IT Executive, with ERP, project coordination, and business-translation to tech solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, firewalls, switches, VLANs and peripherals to ensure uptime.
• Manage Microsoft 365 onboarding, licensing, mailboxes, MFA and Conditional Access.
• Provide ERP and business app support; assist upgrades and integrations; manage vendor relations.

Job description

Infrastructure & Operations: Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, firewalls, network switches, VLANs, and company peripherals to ensure maximum system uptime.

Microsoft 365 & Manage ID Admin: Manage user onboarding/offboarding, licensing, mailboxes, and security controls such as MFA and Conditional Access.

ERP & Business Applications: Provide technical support for core business systems, manage vendor relations, gather user requirements, and assist with upgrades or integrations.

System Integration & Process Improvement: Support UAT testing, eliminate manual workflows through system automation, and bridge software gaps between HR, Finance, and CRM applications.

Cybersecurity & Governance: Enforce security policies, safeguard endpoint protection, manage asset inventories, and maintain backup practices.

Project & Vendor Management: Evaluate IT procurement solutions, track vendor deliverables, and handle internal support.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience Level:

IT Executive: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with a strong foundational knowledge of networks, firewalls, and M365.

Senior IT Executive: Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience, with proven success in managing ERP systems, project coordination, and translating business requirements into tech solutions.

Core Skills: Excellent troubleshooting skills, strong vendor/stakeholder communication, and the ability to work independently.
