Job summary

WCT Land Sdn Bhd (fka WCT Land Berhad) is seeking an Information Technology Executive to assist in implementing and maintaining network infrastructure and IT projects. The role covers hardware/software deployment, daily backups, user support, and maintaining LAN/WAN networks to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in IT or CS with at least 3 years in IT infrastructure, familiar with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and security practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure or system support (internships for graduates acceptable).
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, network administration, backup solutions and hardware troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with virtualization, firewall, switches, routers and application support is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of network infrastructure and IT-related projects.
• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, servers and peripheral devices.
• Perform and monitor daily backup operations to ensure all file systems and critical system data are backed up.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end users for hardware, software, network and application-related issues.
• Support and maintain LAN/WAN, wireless networks, VPNs and other network infrastructure for optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot application system issues and coordinate with vendors or developers when necessary.
• Monitor server health, system performance and IT security to ensure business continuity.
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, system configurations, backup logs and procedures.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the IT Manager or Management.

Perform and monitor daily backup operations to ensure all file systems and critical system data are successfully backed up.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end users for hardware, software, network and application-related issues.

Support and maintain LAN/WAN, wireless networks, VPNs and other network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in IT infrastructure or system support. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.

Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, network administration, backup solutions and hardware troubleshooting.

Familiarity with virtualization, firewall, switches, routers and application support is an added advantage
