Job summary

IOT Manufacturing Sdn Bhd is seeking a hands-on IT Executive to provide technical support for local users and regional offices. The role includes maintaining IT infrastructure, troubleshooting hardware and software, and ensuring reliability of systems supporting business and production operations.

Responsibilities include diagnosing escalated issues, deploying desktops and end-user devices, managing accounts and access, and supporting Windows, Exchange Server, and Active Directory environments.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field.
• 3+ years of IT support experience including infra, networking, hardware, and software.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows environments.

We are looking for a hands-on and solutions-oriented IT Executive to join our team. You will be responsible for providing technical support to local users and regional offices, maintaining IT infrastructure, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the reliability and availability of IT systems supporting our business and production operations.

Key responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve technical issues escalated from the IT Helpdesk.

Provide IT support to local users and regional offices.

Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, drivers, software, patches, and PC peripherals.

Configure, deploy, and support desktops, laptops, and other end-user devices.

Create, manage, and maintain user accounts, access permissions, and system access.

Support and maintain Microsoft Windows environments and related IT systems.

Monitor IT systems and respond promptly to security, system, performance, and usability issues.

Troubleshoot and support network-related issues involving TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, and firewall.

Support Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft 365 / Office 365, and Active Directory environments.

Ensure IT systems and equipment are functioning effectively to support business and production operations.

About you

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of relevant IT support experience, preferably covering IT infrastructure, networking, hardware, software, and system support.

Hands-on experience working in Microsoft Windows environments.

Good knowledge of networking concepts, including: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, Firewall.

Experience with Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft 365 / Office 365, and Active Directory.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Willing to work night shifts when required.
