Job summary

SONGYUAN AUTOMOTIVE SAFETY SYSTEMS (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. seeks an Information Technology Executive to provide first-level support for hardware, software, and networks in a production environment.

The role includes maintaining OT systems, managing MES/ERP/WMS software, and handling device setup, onboarding/offboarding, and access controls. You will escalate complex issues to vendors as needed and ensure secure, reliable IT operations.

Qualifications

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Maintain and monitor Operational Technology systems that interface with production machinery.
• Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, and peripherals.
• Manage user accounts, access rights, and system permissions
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows, MS Office, email, VPN, and remote access.
• Support and maintain LAN, Wi‑Fi, and basic network configurations.
• Assist in IT asset inventory management and documentation.
• Monitor system performance and report potential risks or vulnerabilities.
• Support onboarding/offboarding processes (device setup, user credential creation).
• Escalate complex technical problems to higher-level support or vendors as needed.
