Job summary

M Stud Industries SDN. BHD. invites applications for an Indoor Sales Executive to drive sales and support customer orders from its Ulu Tiram location in Malaysia. The role focuses on building client relationships, handling quotations, and ensuring timely delivery of orders.

The position requires at least 3 years of sales experience, a diploma or higher, and strong Excel skills. Fluency in English, Malay and Mandarin is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years sales experience in bolts, piping, structural steel or similar.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (V-lookup, Pivot Table).
• Good verbal and written communications in English, Malay and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Approach new customers and service existing customers.
• Build contacts with potential clients for new business opportunities.
• Meet buyers and decision makers and obtain sales enquiries for supplier listing.
• Perform commercial and technical reviews on customer contracts and project requirements.
• Negotiate contract terms and project requirements.
• Assist in preparing quotations, including costing and lead time calculations.
• Provide clear order requirements to other departments for smooth fulfilment.
• Monitor orders to control costs and ensure on-time delivery.
• Expedite orders with internal/external stakeholders to minimize delays.
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

• Approach new customers and service existing customers.
• Build contacts with potential clients to create new business opportunities.
• Meet buyers and decision makers, obtain sales enquiries from them, and get our company added to their approved supplier list.
• Perform commercial & technical review on customer contracts and project requirements.
• Negotiate contract terms and project requirements that are not cost-effective, unfavourable to our company, beyond our capabilities, etc.
• Assist in preparing quotations, including costing calculations, lead time calculations, review of drawings, technical specifications and commercial terms.
• Provide clear instructions on order requirements to other departments, in order to enable smooth order fulfilment.
• Negotiate and solve problems after orders are closed e.g., due to delays, quality issues, change in requirements, payment disputes, etc.
• Document and acknowledge customer instructions for order variations and deviations.
• Monitor orders to control costs, update customers on order status and ensure on-time delivery.
• Expedite and elevate orders to internal and external stakeholders as necessary, to minimize any delay to customers.
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years sales experience, preferably in bolting, piping, structural steel or similar industry.
• Diploma or higher Education in any field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (V-lookup, Pivot Table etc.)
• Good verbal and written communications skills in English, Malay and Mandarin, in order to communicate with local and foreign staff.
• 5-day working week.
• Working Location: Ulu Tiram

Salary Range: RM3,000 - RM6,000
