Job summary

Kyodo Steel Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks an Outdoor Sales Executive responsible for the entire sales activities, building business by identifying and selling while maintaining relationships with customers to achieve targeted sales. Determine customers need and provide them with possible business solution.

Gather information on market needs and feedback to management to enable sales strategy. Prepare and follow up quotation based on customer order.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Marketing or equivalent.
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine customers need and provide them with possible business solution.
• Gather information on market needs and feedback to management to enable sales strategy.
• Prepare and follow up quotation based on customer order.
• Review stock level movement and reduce slow-moving stock.
• Manage territory customers, product sales, payment status and collections.
• Plan, arrange and update customer shipment status.
• Prepare monthly sales forecast by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
• Negotiate prices, variation and product specification.
• Ensure delivery of service and product in a timely manner.
• Check quantity and quality prior to delivery.

Job description

Responsible for entire sales activities in the company, builds business by identifying and selling whilst maintaining relationships with customer. To achieve targeted sales target set by the company.

Key responsibilities

Determine customers need and provide them with possible business solution.

Gather information on market needs and feedback to management to enable sales strategy to be formulated.

Prepare and follow up quotation based on customer order.

Review regularly the stock level movement and responsible for reduction of slow moving stock.

Responsible for own territory customers product sales payment status and collection.

Plan, arrange and update customer shipment status to customer.

Prepare monthly sales forecast by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.

Negotiate prices, variation and product specification.

Ensure appropriate and timely delivery of service and product.

Check quantity and quality of product prior to delivery.

About you

Minimum with Diploma or degree in Marketing or equivalent.

Presentation Skills, Customer Relationships, Emphasizing Excellence, Negotiation Skills, Sales Planning and Motivation for Sales.

At least 2 years related work experience in a Manufacturing environment
