Job summary

Rentalworks is seeking a strategic Business Development Manager to lead market expansion in IT hardware and DaaS solutions. You will focus on high-level B2B and government partnerships, shaping regional sales strategy and driving enterprise-level deals.

You will mentor BD teams, lead complex negotiations, and collaborate with Technical, Operations, and Finance units to deliver large-scale client deployments. Hybrid work by design, with travel for key meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field.
• 2–4 years of proven B2B sales or business development experience in IT hardware, MPS, or DaaS, with at least 2 years in a managerial or strategic role.
• Strong existing network within SMEs, large corporations, and government-linked companies (GLCs).
• Exceptional negotiation, strategic planning, and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and drive a high-performance sales culture.
• Willingness to travel for key client meetings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the strategic business development plan to expand Rentalworks’ IT hardware leasing and DaaS solutions.
• Target, pitch, and close high-value, complex enterprise and government agency contracts.
• Identify and forge strategic partnerships with key technology vendors, channel partners, and industry stakeholders.
• Manage the end-to-end sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting to the Executive Director.
• Mentor and guide junior BD executives, providing strategic direction on complex pitches and negotiations.
• Lead high-level contractual negotiations, ensuring favorable SLAs and terms for both the client and Rentalworks.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Technical, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure seamless deployment of large-scale client assets.
• Act as the face of Rentalworks at industry events, trade shows, and high-level client presentations.
